Bank of America’s Neighborhood Excellence Initiative

The Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence Initiative is designed to recognize,
nurture and reward organizations, local heroes and student leaders who are helping their
neighborhoods to achieve excellence.

To the surprise of the twins, Brenda Wilson, President / CEO and Lynda Moran, Deputy
Director of New Image Emergency Shelter for the Homeless, they were nominated to
receive the ‘2007 Bank of America Local Heroes Award’ by Daniel Tellalian.
Their nomination for this esteemed and much unexpected award was in honor of their
commitment to the growth and vitality of Los Angeles County. The Award Ceremony
was held on November 5, 2007, wherein the twins had an opportunity to share a few
words. Brenda and Lynda were given an opportunity to designate an eligible non-profit
organization of their choice to receive their $5,000. They made their donation to New
Image Emergency Shelter for the Homeless, Inc.
