| New Image Honored by the LA City Council |

Case Managers Receive Recognition by Councilmember Jan Perry
On June 12, 2009, employees of New Image and the Skid Row Housing Trust were honored by the Los Angeles City Council for their work placing clients in permanent supportive housing. Pictured above are Geneva Ramos, Pam Moncreif, Maggie Working and Sonia Nevarez.
Councilmember Jan Perry, who was recently sworn in for her third term, made the presentation as part of the full Council meeting at City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles. Both the New Image year round program shelter and 'The Abbey', a permanent supportive housing project spearheaded by Skid Row Housing Trust are within her 9th Council District. Also present from New Image were: Sylvia Lozano, Shelter Manager, and Jim Ebert, Program Administrator.
